Rise & Rooted Collective ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit riseandrooted.net or contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have.

When you fill out our inquiry form, send us an email, or call or text us, we collect the information you choose to share — typically your name, email address, phone number, organization, and details about your project or question.

Information collected automatically

Our website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may automatically log basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, and pages visited. This information is used for security, fraud prevention, and to keep the site online. We do not run any third-party analytics, advertising pixels, or tracking scripts on this site.

2. Cookies

This site does not set advertising, analytics, or social media tracking cookies. Cloudflare may set essential cookies (such as __cf_bm) for bot management and security. These cookies are considered strictly necessary and do not track you across other sites. You can clear cookies anytime through your browser settings.

3. Third-Party Services

We use a small number of trusted services to operate our business:

  • Google Forms / Google Workspace — to receive and manage inquiries and project requests. Information you submit through our inquiry form is stored in our Google account.
  • Cloudflare — for website hosting, DNS, and security.
  • Email and SMS — if you email us at aejones39@gmail.com or text 612-845-2034, your message is stored in those services.

Each of these providers has its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review them if you have concerns about how your data is handled.

4. How We Use Your Information

  • To respond to your inquiry, schedule discovery calls, and provide services you request.
  • To send proposals, project updates, invoices, and follow-up communications related to a current or prospective engagement.
  • To improve how we run the business and the site itself.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their marketing purposes.

5. Marketing & Email

We do not currently run a marketing email list. If we ever add one in the future, it will be opt-in only, and every message will include a way to unsubscribe.

6. Data Retention

We keep inquiry and project information for as long as it's needed to provide services and meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements — typically up to seven years for engagement records. You can request deletion of your information at any time (see "Your Rights" below).

7. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal information we hold about you.
  • Request that we correct or delete that information.
  • Opt out of any future marketing communications.
  • Receive a portable copy of your data.

Our services are intended for businesses, nonprofits, and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.
